Ropes CourseA great activity to breakdown personal boundaries as well as encourage team work and trust. Ropes Courses are set between trees or poles and provide a set of physical problems to be solved by the participant. The participant is required to negotiate their way along the base rope with various aids at their disposal. This may be in the form of a hand line at hip height or a series of Tarzan type vines hanging precariously out of reach.

Ropes Courses can be set low (less than 2 feet from the ground) or high (more than 2 metres from the ground but often 5+). In both instances participants work in groups of three; one attempting the course, the other two working as supporters on either side. On high ropes the paticipant will be fully harnessed and attached to a rope belay system from the moment they leave the ground. The courses are pre set at many campsites around Victoria and can be accessed as part of a larger program whilst utilising that camp.
